Depot Adventures Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We are happy to make any changes we can, but because we are small group tours, we are unable to process a refund if it’s within 24 hours of the tour.

What if I miss my flight/my flight is cancelled/delayed/I miss the tour for any other reason?

Reach out to us and we’ll see what we can do. Please be aware that we’re a small business blocking off sales for your ticket, so we may not be able to refund you if you don’t arrive to your tour.

So long as you contact us 24 hours in advance, we will always offer you a date change or refund.

Do the tours still run if there is bad weather?

Yes! The tours will run each day on schedule, rain or shine. Make sure to be prepared for what the weather may bring – whether that’s sunscreen or an umbrella (or both!)

What if I am late?

We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you don’t miss any of the introduction. We will remain at the start point for 5 minutes after the tour’s starting time.

If you’ll be later then that and have booked a free tour, we would advise you to join the next tour. Because of the complexities of leading a larger group size, we are unable to accept latecomers.

If you’re running late and booked a paid tour, let us know and we can advise you where to meet.

Who will my tour guide be?

Depot Adventures tour guides are all experienced guides who have lead tours all over the world, from Europe and beyond. Your guide may be a local or an international, but all of them will share their passion for the city they love and take you on a journey through history until today.

Our guides change on a daily basis, so each tour may have a different one. We can however ensure that each of them are fantastic! Read more about Depot Adventures Guides here.

Who else will be on my tour?

Our tours proudly host both locals and internationals, and provide a phenomenal space to bridge both age and background gaps. You may be on tour with backpackers from around the world, locals from just down the road, pensioners on overseas trips, or nationals exploring different parts of their own country.

Tours like ours are a great way to meet people from different walks of life from around the world – we encourage it!
