Melbourne Night Bites
Discover the city’s best late-night eats.
“As a tour guide, we’re so used to giving tours during the daytime, just a little shift into the evening makes for an entirely different vibe. It’s a really fun context from which to give a walking tour.”
The city takes on a different character at night — shadowy alleyways, raucous bars, and excited theatre-goers. It’s with this backdrop that you’ll explore a city coming to life.
Duck and weave through the crowds as you find yourself in three unique holes-in-the-wall from a cheeky standing bite. This is not your typical, sit-down-and-wait-an-hour-for-your-food walking tour. No, this experience will have you pushing crowds aside to find that perfect greasy pizza joint in the back of a dive bar, having your guide help you translate the mandarin menu from a dumping house, and exploring a restaurant that is gritty and real, not overly polished and overpriced.
Hop a tram, and learn a bit about the amazing city you’ll be spending your evening in. What foods will we be eating? We’ll leave that one a mystery, because our guides regularly change up the venues they bring you to.
Some nights, it may be the other KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). Other nights you might be looking for some Chinese donuts. Pizza is usually part of the equation. And you’ll wash it all back with a beer.
This tour is made for someone who wants to discover the underknown parts of the city and eat their way through it all.
